Toolbars.

There are two sets of toolbars within ArtiCAD. The buttons used to add items onto your design which run down the left-hand side of the design area and the shortcuts to menus which run along the top of the screen (see image below). This section deals with the toolbars that run along the top of the design screen.

The following instructions apply to all room systems.

Each toolbar corresponds to a menu at the top of the screen e.g. File, View, This Design. The buttons on the toolbar correspond to the options within that menu e.g. File - New, View - Elevation, This Design - Photo realism colours.

Individual toolbars can be turned on or off, as well as individual options within that toolbar.

Hover your mouse pointer over a toolbar button for a second and a short description of that button will appear.

Toolbar buttons will de-activate themselves depending on the particular mode you are in e.g. the buttons corresponding to "View" - "Zoom 2x" etc will become inactive when in "Drag and Drop" mode.

Your selection of toolbars will be saved when you exit from ArtiCAD. The next time you start ArtiCAD your selection will be restored as it was when you exited.
